Tribute to Yemi Bankole
Yemi, your presence was always marked by a gentle warmth. You carried a constant, welcoming smile—one made unforgettable by the dimple that reflected your kind nature. No matter the circumstances, you remained calm, composed, and steady. I knew and experienced you as a genuinely gentle and friendly person, someone who made others feel at ease simply by being yourself. Your neat and thoughtful appearance also stays in my memory. You were always smartly dressed, especially in those well-cut chinos that reflected your quiet confidence and sense of order. It wasn’t just fashion; it was a glimpse into the disciplined and graceful way you carried yourself. Your absence leaves a deep void, but your memory continues to inspire warmth and gratitude. May God’s favour continue to smile upon your family.
Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba
Deji, you were a man who truly loved and served God Almighty. It was a great privilege to have been your colleague at SITP4. I experienced you as a friend and a leader—full of wisdom, grace, and genuine kindness. As the leader of the SITP fellowship, you were always approachable and inspiring, consistently expressing your faith through action and offering steady encouragement to everyone around you. I fondly remember visiting you at your home in Iyana-Ipaja. The warm reception you gave me, and the words of encouragement you shared during a time when I was still searching for direction and a job, have stayed with me ever since. We miss you dearly, but we take solace in the impactful and purposeful life you lived. May God Almighty remember you for good always, and may He continue to bless and uphold your family.
Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba
A Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba As we gather, we remember you with heavy hearts, a life taken from us far too soon. Deji, though you are no longer with us, the memory of your gentle and profound spirit remains an indelible mark on all who knew you. You were the cool, calculated son of Zion. Your love for the Lord obvious to all who encounter you. Your demeanour was a rare and beautiful constant in a world of chaos. You were wise beyond your years, a young man who was slow to speak and thoughtful in his actions. In a testament to your incredible character, I never saw you angry, even in the face of the worst provocation. Your peace was not of this world. I have a clear memory that perfectly captures this. I recall the time I had to step in and take over your first landlord issue in Port Harcourt. It wasn't that you couldn't handle it; it was simply that you were too cool for them to listen. Your calm and non-confrontational nature was misunderstood in a situation that demanded bluster. You operated on a higher, more peaceful frequency. It is said that the best ones go first because heaven is for the best. As they saw in you, Deji, this sentiment has never felt more true. Heaven has indeed gained one of its finest. Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord, dear friend. Your journey here was a lesson in grace, and your absence is deeply felt. May your soul continue eternal and perfect peace. Rest in Peace, Deji.

Tribute to Yemi (AKBanks) We speak of you, and the words arrive, serene and few— Kindness, a quiet river, deep and true. A wisdom worn not loud, but light, A calming, steady presence, bright. And as a mother knows a noble soul, We thought of the one who made you whole. We commended, silent, her gentle art— “Blessed the breast,” the ancient scripture starts, “From which such grace was drawn and gently fed,” A spirit so complete, so wisely led. The heavens, seeing one so fully grown, Not in years, but in the peace you’d sown, Called you early, not with haste or strife, But knowing you were already ripe for life Beyond our own. A gentleman, prepared, his journey done. A good man, Yemi. Your rest is won. Ijeoma
Tribute to Yemi Bankole
Yemi, Even after so many years, we still think of you with warmth and gratitude. It feels like only yesterday that we shared laughter, learning, and friendship together in the Shell Training Program. You were kind, peaceful, and always ready to help — never too busy to listen, never too tired to lend a hand. Your calm spirit and quiet strength left a deep impression on all of us. As we gather again and look back on those days, we feel your presence among us. Your memory continues to inspire us to be better — to be as thoughtful, as steady, and as kind as you were. You may be gone from our sight, but you remain forever in our hearts.

Tribute to Yemi Bankole
AK Banks, you left too soon, but your quiet strength remains—a whispered breeze in our shared space. Gentle, unassuming, and kind, you lit up days without needing to speak. A flatmate, a course mate, a colleague. A friend to all. Your calm was a refuge; your smile, a gift. In laughter, in silence, you made room for us. Though life cut short your story, memories linger: late-night study sessions, shared meals, jokes lost in translation. Rest easy, Banky. Your peace stays with us.
Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba
Deji, you were the quiet force that anchored us—a bridge of humility in a world of noise. As a trainee at SITP-1, a colleague, and a proud Ife alumni, you earned respect without seeking it. To me, you were a younger brother, eyes bright with trust. I recall those late-night jacking, your infectious laughter and how you called me _"Big Bro"_ with a grin. We dreamed of your “ascendancy”—of watching you lead, innovate, and leave a mark. Life had other plans. Yet your legacy remains: kindness, loyalty, and the beauty of unfinished potential. The hills of Ile-Ife, the serenity of Edjeba, and these shared memories hold you still. Continue to rest well, Deji. Your light stays with us.

Tribute to Yemi Bankole
AKBanks, ‘Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. 12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep’ (Job 14:1, 12, KJV). ‘And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them (Revelation 14:13, KJV). You were among the persons that welcomed me at Kwara 4 with a smile, I can’t recall the others, when I resumed the Batch 4 training programme as one of last four entries. I would never forget your words that the mutual smile became our point of connection for the years that followed. You lived a life of meaning, as a gentle soul, and I couldn’t imagine the days would be that few. Till we meet again, and I am persuaded, with another smile, then the days would never be few, in fact, never ending, says the Lord. Sleep in Peace, my friend. Abimbola Alamu
Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba
Deji, Who would ever imagine the journey would be short?! Who would ever think that our time together would quickly pass like a fleeting breath? Who could ever know why our connection quickly reached such a depth? We may never know nor able to imagine., A gentle soul, loving fellow, intelligent and a true leader, your memories are blessed - my friend, my brother, my colleague, my townsman, my family. Deji,, you are remembered always. Meet you at the Master’s feet. - Abimbola Peter Alamu
Tribute to Deji Aloluwaloba
Deji, you wore your ideals and principles on your sleeve and lived them out with passion, and it was clear for all to see - so much so that it impacted people and bore positive fruit well beyond your words. Sad that you left us when you did. Still, I believe you're resting from all your labours now and will in time meet your maker in full glory. Rest on bro!
